WRITERS

Whether you are looking for freelance work or you have a completed script you are looking to publish/sell we’re
interested! Freelance writers would need to send us at least an 8 page sequential panel to panel story, fully scripted and
ready for an artist to tackle. Please do not send notes or story summaries as we actually want to see what you can do
with your story and the interaction between characters, etc.You can submit any type of story writing using comic
characters of your choice – we ain’t picky, we just want to see what you can do. Using our own characters is a plus
though, but not needed. If you are a writer who has a completed script of an original story using your OWN characters
or any of our characters and you are looking to get it published or simply looking to sell it outright, we are interested
and would of course need to see the ENTIRE script, not just 8 pages. We’ll respond to these submissions
immediately. In either case - if you have had your work published before, we would love to see samples of that
(photocopies, tear sheets, an actual comic book, etc.) either in your submission packet or links on the internet we can
go to.

COLORISTS

We are in the process of converting some of our books to color for the 2006 publishing year. Freelance colorists
wishing to submit work can simply send 8.5” x 11” copies of your color work. Hand coloring or digital coloring is
fine. For digital colorists – your work can be created on any program you wish, just as long as the final files can be
saved in .tif or .psd file format, which are what we use for final production of the book. Coloring samples of any
characters is perfectly fine, but we strongly hope to see samples of our own characters. Presenting Cavewoman
colored samples is a strong plus. Most of our Cavewoman releases have been in black and white, so you can just
make copies of any book pages and use those. We would like to see at least 3 pages of colored work, and those pages must have some instances of detailed backgrounds and a good amount of the characters on them. In addition, if
you have had your work published before, we would love to see samples of that (photocopies, tear sheets, an actual
comic book, etc.) either in your submission packet or links on the internet we can go to.

SCULPTERS

Please send color copies or photographs of work or samples you have done recently, from various angles so we can
get a good idea of your abilities. If you have had sculpts that have been released to the market place through any other
company, please send us pictures of those, or links on the internet we can go to. When the time comes we would be
interested in working with someone good, so even if you have never had any sculpt made into something that has hit the
market, it’s totally fine – show us what you have worked on.

INKERS

Sorry, at this time we do not need any freelance inking work done.

LETTERS

Sorry, at this time we do not need any freelance lettering work done.

SPECIAL NOTE
Creators looking to actually sell ownership/rights to a completed project or perhaps an established comic character or
related property are also welcome to contact us. We’re in the business to release the best product we can, and if you
have something that has been developed by yourself that is complete and ready to be marketed or if you already have an
established property and you are looking to sell it to our company, we would consider discussing this with you. We
have property ownership forms that would need to be signed by yourself that basically state that any material you are
offering for sale is the sole property of YOU and you alone and that there is no other entity who has any type of claim
or legal interest in or to your material. If there are any – they would also need to sign our forms. More details on this
will be made available to anybody going this route with our company on an ownership rights sale.

Thanks again for considering our company with your submissions.
